What we do
Environmental Synergies in Development (ENSYDE) focuses on four broad areas – energy, water, waste and education. We design and implement solutions for environmental improvement, by understanding citizen behaviour and encouraging action. While our beneficiary is and will always be THE ENVIRONMENT , creating an ecosystem to bring awareness and facilitating sustainable practices through citizen participation is our mission.
Each of our initiatives encompass research, behavioural analysis, pilot, scale and sustainability to make the solutions openly available and replicable for any city to use & adapt.
Waste Solutions
ENSYDE aims to mitigate waste flow into the landfills through integrating circular economy solutions and awareness. We identify large problem areas and gaps to find bridging solutions.
Energy Solutions
Under our energy management initiatives, the key objective is to reduce carbon emissions through efficiency improvements, awareness & behaviour change. With a focus on travel related carbon emissions, ENSYDE assists individuals and companies reduce their carbon footprint through offsets by implementation of efficiency programs.
Water Solutions
Creating water stewards among our citizens is important if we are to address the deepening water problems in urban areas. Mis-use and a misplaced entitlement to this life-saving resource, begs the need to bring awareness and behaviour change towards the way we use water and the way we protect this resource.
Experiential Environmental Education
Children as stewards of our environment can only be possible if they feel for the environment and believe that they can offer solutions. Our education initiative focuses of providing a learning & doing environment for students to take their schools and communities towards sustainable practices.
