Needs Assessment of Non-revenue Water (Nrw), India. (2004-2005)

For Alliance to Save Energy, USA, we conducted a questionnaire survey of major municipalities & water utilities in India. The main objective was to evaluate their needs in addressing issues related to non-revenue water or unaccounted for water. The needs assessment covered operations & maintenance, technology, capacity building, finances and institutional aspects.

Impacts:  The survey provided clear understanding of on-ground realities related to causes of NRW and provided a course of action for addressing these issues.
