Project Info
Project Description
The school is an old building and utilizes natural resources inefficiently. ENSYDE conducted a preliminary technical assessment of resource use (energy, water and waste) to evaluate potential interventions to make the campus environmentally sustainable. This assessment & implementation is to be backed with a massive education programme which will bring awareness on these issues to students and staff.
Impact: The potential impact is reduced carbon, water and waste footprint. The project will contribute to increasing ground water recharge, reduce energy consumption & improve solid waste management. Over 500 students and staff will be educated on the aspects of resource sustainability.
